Elder Abuse
To raise awareness and elicit sympathy toward the growing problem of elder abuse in the United States, we used historic hardships presented as newspaper and medical pieces embedded in wrinkles to represent all the trying times our senior citizens have endured. The image asks the viewer to consider all the difficult times and events our elders have already been through in the hopes that it will demonstrate how especially shameful it is that they are exposed to abuse by their caretakers in old age.
